Legs crossed and all...
this is how I find Sophia...in the yard, just hanging
out, playing with her v-reader with her legs crossed like
a little lady
she even made a towel for herself

Butterfly Transfer

after all the caterpillars were hanging upside down from their lids it was
time to transfer then to their new home, a butterfly pavillion

now we wait another 10 day's for then to grow into monarch butterflies

both Sophia & Noah have been loving this entire process, everyday

they check on their catapillars to make sure they are doing ok.

Breakfast at Wimbledon

Sophia is really into Wimbledon this year, every morning she

wants to watch it with me and practice in her PJ's
our little tennis star

we were blown away

at 20 months Noah shocked us the other night in the bathtub...
out of the blue he just started counting
1, 2, 3, 4, 5...then he applauded himself

then her proceeded to continue with...

A, B, C, D...and applauded himself again...

i guess he has been paying attention! Brian, Sophia and I were

so exciting to all witness this exciting moment at the same time.

waiting on caterpillars...

for Sophia's birthday she got one of the coolest presents

ever from Gail, my Godmother...10 caterpillars for us to

take care of, watch them grow and transfer into the butterfly

pavilion.

Once the caterpillars turn into butterfly's we get to enjoy

them for 10 more day's and then release them into the sky...

After 1 1/2 years with an adoption agency we are PROUD

to announce that Aunt Amy (Brian's Aunt in Virgina) & Jonathan are

the happiest parents in the world!

with us! Such a special treat, since Grandpa Bob
lives in Oklahoma this was his 1st birthday

Where do we even begin? It's been waterworks central over at the Rodgers house for the past 2 weeks...the fact that our daughter turned 4 is just beyond anything i can imagine...and I can't stop crying about it! I know how cheesy this sounds but its really feels like Sophia was just born. My emotions are on a roller coaster ride...Sophia is growing up so quickly and we just can't believe what a wonderful little girl she is turing into. Sophia mommy and daddy are so incredibly PROUD of you! You have a heart of gold! You always think of other people before you think of yourself. Your giving, kind, patient, sweet, funny, smart, a loving big sister to Noah, a great dancer, a social butterfly, an artist, a ballerina, a soccer player, a clothes designer (seriously this kid is going to be a fashion designer at the rate she is going)...but of all you are our angel that we have been blessed with. Since the day you were born you have changed who we are...because of you Sophia you have taught us to enjoy everyday to the fullest, laugh often, smile all the time and to have a giving heart! We love you Sophia and thank God for you everyday! Happy Birthday sweetheart!
